Please tell me,
why the sky looks so bright,
never seen this for a'long,
please tell me,
why it’s so hard for me to breathe,
when you’re near me,
and all sorrow is away and gone …

Looking for the answer,
make’s me finding no sleep,
looking to the stars above,
whispering out your name,
so honestly and deep …

Please tell me,
why the birds are singing in the trees,
when you come along,
and your voice is touching my heart,
a feeling so good and wonderful,
there can’t be nothing wrong …

Please tell me,
why the moon is shining at night,
so different like never before …

Please tell me,
why you’re always in my heart,
so easily like walking through an open door …

Finding the answer,
make’s me having no sleep,
looking to the stars above,
whispering to you all my secrets,
my worried heart tries to keep …

Hoping that just a single word,
is reaching wherever you may be,
or wherever you may go,
you’re are everything’s for me,
and that’s all I ever need to know …
